The main topic of the meeting will be innovative biotechnologies employing new nanoscaffolds, growth factors, cell products, tissue engineering products, polymer innovation, modified metal surfaces and new bioactive implants. Moreover, novel minimally invasive spine surgery techniques, navigation and robotics will also be part of the exciting program of BioSpine 7. Specific sessions will be dedicated to debate on hot topics in the fields such as stem cells for disc regeneration and working groups presentation for promoting international networking.

Main Topics

  • Cell therapies for intervertebral disc regeneration
  • Growth factors in spinal fusion and disc regeneration
  • Annulus fibrosus repair
  • Minimally invasive spinal surgery (MISS)
  • Autograft, allograft, metal and polymeric cages for spinal fusion
  • Disc degeneration
  • Cervical decompressions and fusion
